Miami Lyric Opera is a Non-Profit Corporation tax exempt under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, that is committed to presenting opera and other musical events in South Florida. MLO also promotes the appreciation of opera by conducting workshops and individual voice lessons aimed at teaching the art of classical singing from novice to professional singers.

As part of its Mission, MLO is committed to providing scholarships to qualified young talents to improve their musicianship and singing skills.

To finance the operation and create a fund for scholarships, we rely on donations and contributions in addition to revenues produced by the sale of tickets. We highly appreciate the support from corporations, government authorities and individuals who wish to contribute to our efforts for expanding this important artistic expression in our community.
